In this beautiful world, it’s incredibly hard
to tell people apart,
and especially so
to decide who belongs 
to your personal circle
of friends.

Everyone is a beast nowadays, so it goes.
Tigers. Lions. Wolves. Hippos and rhinos. 
So strong and so mighty
the sound of their powerful
“mooooo”.

I digress. Anyway,

It’s incredibly hard to tell people apart,
harder still to find those to hold close to your heart,
and you can’t really find human beings 
when you’re trapped in a zoo.
